You may have heard me share how my first business grew from $20/hr to $20k packages and a multi-VA team. That was 18 months ago.
Once the second little one joined our family, things were not always as smooth. I went from selling those to selling none - despite the fact that I hustled my a$$ off and booked calls left and right!
And that was the problem!
(It took a lot of time, a ton of effort, and an incredible amount of investments to get the right support, the right strategies, to reposition my services, reframe the offerings - and more importantly, to gain clarity and confidence in what I do for my clients and how. The money issue got fixed, I reached the new high in sales, but a much deeper problem still persisted...)
See, even I wasn't immune to the Shiny Object Syndrome, regardless of how great of a consultant and strategist I am for my clients!
And it was hard to get out of the comfort zone, to stop spending so much time on activities that didn't necessarily produce the wanted results - all because they seemed to be working for everyone else...
It wasn't easy to ELIMINATE strategies, to simplify processes, to slow down - you know, us high-achievers are always in the go-go-go-go mode... So busy was good...
And, I paid the price - within a year, I got shingles and what we thought was a heart attack! At 31, 32 years old! All because of the self-inflicted stress of wanting to better serve even more clients AND being more present with my kids!
So, my consultant and I got together, laid it all out, and took a deeper look into the numbers, conversions, and especially the processes.
We wanted to determine how even more client could be supported on a much deeper level, and in a way that is aligned with my values, strengths and lifestyle.
