How would you react?

Have your kids ever interrupted your sales conversation, teaching presentation?

Last week, I was wrapping up a 5-day challenge via livestreaming and was just gearing up to invite the attendees to set up revision/discovery calls when my 4-year old walked in and wanted something. In the past, I would have had a heart attack and start to apologize profusely while sending her the get-out-now looks...

But you know what, having kids at home while I work is what my business has been designed for. And through out the week, I have mentioned and shared strategies for the attendees to use if they, too, have to work around their families. So, when she walked in, I was able to ask them for a moment, tend to her for two moments, and resume our session, saying "see, and that's what we're talking about."

They loved it, calls got scheduled, sales are being made. Everybody's happy.
