Since this is one of the questions I get asked the most, I thought I'd break it down into 4 steps:
How to set up your service packages and structure your pricing?
First, know that your services and prices stand on three pillars:
:: you (your strengths, needs, wants)
:: your clients (what they want, what they need)
:: your business (what does it need to sustain)
Second, know your numbers:
:: what do you need to bring in to break even every month?
:: what is the profit you want to make?
Third, know what model you want to build on:
:: coaching, consulting, done-for-you?
:: exclusivity, masses?
:: project-based, retainer based, hourly based?
:: recurring revenue; subscriptions, royalties, affiliate, referral?
:: e-courses, products,...?
:: low-end, high-end?
Fourth, play around with features and benefits at different levels of the so-called product ladder (or money mountain as some people call it), to decide what will work for you.
From there, you adjust your marketing, management, and support systems.
