How to get out of funk after incredible success

When that celebration-worthy and massively successful thing (that gave you the confidence to venture out on your own) suddenly goes south or simply runs its course (although your former coach is still celebrating you for it)...

  • And your (old) demons get a hold of you and are sucking you back into the old ways...

  • When you feel alone, lonely, small, heavy and unheard...

  • When all the love and support of those who are supposed to believe in you the most, feels conditional after all...

  • When you are crystal clear on what you want, but you're simply not allowing any of it in (no matter how much harder you work)...

  • And when you are waiting to be in a better space before you reach out and ask for help (because you're too embarrassed to admit the truth, much less to burst into tears)...
...ask yourself this:
When we break a leg, we don't wait for it to heal enough for us to be able to walk ourselves to the doctor, do we?
See, the truth is this:
  1. Blocking off, ignoring, muting, and censoring one thing blocks off, ignores, mutes, and censors EVERYTHING...good, too.

  2. The need to figure it out for yourself, and taking pride in taking the hard way, is a symptom of the "I am my results" wound.

  3. As the cycle of working hard for results -> feeling good -> and immediately focusing on everything that's still missing and un-achieved -> working even harder, it leads to a (physical, emotional, mental) burnout.

  4. It truly doesn't have to be that hard, that complicated, and that frustrated.
If you recognize yourself in here, my wish for you is this:
Allow yourself to be supported be someone who not only can hold space for you, challenge you, and celebrate with you...
...but especially who sees beyond the symptoms, deep beneath the surface, and can help you transcend the patterns, limitations, and help you trust yourself (again)...

...so that you can leap, and create life, business, and freedom you truly desire.
