"Hey Sara! I have had a question on mind for you a long time," read a message that Audrey, my colleague and friend, sent me a few weeks ago: "... I just wanted to ask....have you ever heard of human design?"
Let me tell you, her message was like a bucket of cold water dumped on my head. I'll share with you exactly why in this note.
Her note continued to describe how she had her human design done and it completely changed her business. COMPLETELY.
Why, yes, I know Human Design, it changed by LIFE completely! In fact, Karen is the person who did it for me and my family a while ago...
But hey, wait a minute... what did you say? Business?
You know how you keep generating information, strategies, plans, templates, and who-knows-what-else for you business, and then carefully save it all in either folders on your computer, notes, or binders on your desk?
The crazy thing is that oftentimes, we forget to go back, dig up all that information, piece it all together and create something for us, something that has been proven to work... We are so preoccupied by
chasing that new, bigger, better thing...
So what my Audrey's message did for me was to remind me that I needed to stop completely, and dig up my old notes. What I discovered was that for quite some time, I have been doing everything completely against my design. In a desire to push the limits, exceed the goals and set new expectations, I found myself imitating what others have been doing.
Sadly, I have been doing everything I warn my clients against! Can you imagine?
Then, just around that time, Karen reached out and told me what she's been up to.
Talk about the Universe conspiring to make sure I get the message!
Now, those of you who have known me for some time now, you know that years ago, I would have never even considered saying anything like the Universe, alignment, authenticity,... In fact, I used to think it was a marketing gimmick! Ha! The older I get, the more I gravitate towards finding my own purpose, calling and alignment!
So, I am being very honest with myself and sort of talking myself out of the insanity (which is doing the same thing but expecting different results), and as the result, I am finding calm, peace, and abundance of everything showing up again. I am returning to the place from which I "operated" when my life and business were at the highest of the highs,
and I can't wait what it happens this time around.
